  1. OH….wow….I have many ideas and feelings about this….but briefly. Art is important because of the ‘creative process’. The inborn need…desire….passion…. to create. It tunes in – whether as the observer or creator of such things – to the part of our being that has to find a way to express – or enjoys the expression of feeling….the very core and heart of our soul.

  2. Wow, thanks for the comment. I really appreciate it.

  3. because what is more beautiful than relating with someone that you have never spoken with. Art gives us this occasion. In the moments of art we are once again reminded that we are all more alike then we are different.

  4. Okay- I agree with all of these comments, but is any of it really important? Does this really matter?

  5. Are you important??? Do you really matter??? hmmm.. if your answer is, hopefully, what I think it is then enough said. …..but wait one more thing… what we do is important and if it is art and it is how we express ourselves then YES it does really matter because WE matter.

  6. Important…? Create – creator – creation.

  7. It isn’t.

  8. oh nate, what would your life be without “art.” I just like art, especially when my friends are the creators. I’m partial to the art of words, myself.
Hmmm. Now I’m really wondering what Nate would be without art. No music, no drawing, no creative writing? a philosopher or a bus driver perhaps, unless somehow philosophy can be considered art

  9. Lol! (a really good chuckle) beautiful, Nate.
